something for me...

When I was in China, I was able to visit a well known antiques market where I scored a few interesting and useful items.

The market in China was a thrivingly busy place. There were a few organized "stores", like the ones you see to the right in the photo below, but most were the tiny stalls tucked under a large awning.

The Indoor Market

The Outdoor Market

Can you guess what I bought at the market??? Well, I think that's easy to answer! I bought beads!

The vendors were trying to charge me huge markups on items, but I haggled like a pro! I brought one vendor down to 1/8 of her original asking price. After that transaction, she smiled at me, and told my boyfriend that I was a good haggler.

See my next post... because I have something special for ya'll!!!!

I wish I was a good haggler. I always get jipped when I have to negotiate...
